GETTING YOUR FIX
7x7 San Francisco

February 2002

The Bay Area attracts chocolate-makers partly because its cool, dry climate is perfect for chocolate production.

Since 1997, when the idea for XOX Truffles went from a late-night, "what if?" conversations between Chef Jean-Marc Gorce and wife and business partner Casimira into reality, the chocolatiering couple has been producing some of the most sought-after truffles in the Bay Area.

The two opened a little boutique at 754 Columbus Ave. (near Greenwich St.) and quickly earned kudos from San Francisco chocoholics for their delectable, bite-sized XOX nuggets.

With 27 savory flavors, including varieties infused with Kahlua and Triple Sec, as well as virgin truffles ranging from popular hazelnut to a rich dark chocolate, XOX Truffles come intricately wrapped in ornate packaging.

They're the perfect sexy treat for nighttime rendezvous with your special sweetie.
